im 18 is it too late to start karting and reach not a pro level but competitive and get sponsored?

also if this helps im a pretty good driver in a car and i understand racing lines and braking. but i dont know how long it would take to get used to driving a kart would take to be at a competitive level (not pro but competitive)

    In most cases it`s never too late.Paul Newman started racing in Nascar at the age of 70 something so anything`s possible.

    Its never to late to try something you enjoy.
    As for getting to a competitive level, how can anyone answer that when we don’t know your skill level or how good or bad a driver you are.
    Try a karting school, they will access your ability.
    Hope you have plenty of money to get started.
