A real wood homemade go kart not one weld on it. Built from parts from a snow blower, hand truck and wood. It cost 1 months worth of trash picking. 25 MPH easy and 35 mph pushing it.

    to make a good brake you need to research how a band brake works and use that same idea with a V belt pulley on the axle and use a section of V belt for your band it works great and i will post a vid on it soon

    how do you make a brake? my friends and i decided to screw a block of wood on the go kart, so when we want to stop we will just pull the block of wood(only used for drifting). but how do we make a brake that will truly stop at like a stop light lets say, or “park”?
