BMW boasts that their MINI cars have go-kart like handling. Well, we just had to find out for real! Using professional drivers, WebRidesTV pitted the new 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman S up against a custom-built, 9hp, Honda engine go-kart. Ok, they are taking a vehicle with regular tires on a go kart track that has a special surface. Stupid much.
Also the Austin Mini Clubman is like from the ’70s BMW just redesigned the classic Cooper

The video isn’t about who would cross the finish line first. It was about which one has more “go-kart” handling.
To quote: “MINI seems to be particularly proud of one feature of the Clubman and that’s it’s go-kart like handling. Well I call bullshit on that!”
Using that criterion I would say the go-kart won, meaning that it seemed to handle more like a go-kart!
Yes Clubman crossed the finish line first but it didn’t seem to have as much go-kart like handling as an actual go-kart.

I drive a Clubman and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, (except maybe and EV1!).
Of course the go-kart won. They are on a little go-kart track with no room to maneuver and no straightways to speak of!
The same go-kart on the same track would beat any car out there because there is no room for a car to get to speed without going right over the go-kart.
Just another dumbass car show with nothign to offer.
The Clubman may not be right for you. Maybe you are not right for the Clubman.

i have the freedom of speech, whether to judge something or not.. and in my opinion, i like the clubman, not just for looks, i think its a pretty good car.. no comparison to an Audi R8, or Bugatti Veron, however, i think that his review.. well.. wasnt good..
