    when i was in the 9th grade i remember when i first started racing the 80cc mba shifter kart that straight away seemed so much longer and the carts use to scare me lol

    Ahh I remember my 125cc shifter with a tuned honda cr125 engine, 40mph through corner with one front wheel in the air, and flying down the+, it did about 7-8secs 0-60mph :D I was 12 then..

    125s are monsters if you’re not ready for them. Anyone that thinks they can hop on one and take off, will get fucked up pretty bad. Or look stupid when they’re driving about 8 MPH.

    is it an the older karts that had a clutch for the gears? or is it a different style

    There is a clutch, but you don’t use it to shift. You just push on the shifter to downshift and pull to upshift. The clutch is only used on standing starts.
