How Do You Adjust A Go-Kart Carb While Driving To Improve Top Speed?

I go kart alot and the staff and such places in races adjust their carb, how can i adjust mine quickly and so it workd for me and not against me

and how do i know where the screw or tap to adjust and how much do you adjust it

ive tried reading up but it confuses me!

    is the engine mounted beside your seat?–so that you can reach around at the adjustment screws?–if it is a two stroke—-run it wide open turn your hi speed jet out untill it starts to sputter –back it back in untill the engine is screaming and purring–do the same on the low speeed jet when just idling—-if it’s a four stroke–set it up on a stand with rear wheels off the ground-set blocks in front of front wheels or have some one in the kart in case it falls off the stand they can hit the brakes—turn your air jet out untill engine starts to sputter then back in slightly untill it smooths out—but if your engine is mounted beside you like on most karts do the same as the setting for the two stroke–drive it while adjusting—

    I tried that years ago and jerked the steering wheel sharply in the process.I lost control and hit a mailbox post head on,doing lots of damage.Be careful.
