Just wondering if anyone knows anything about converting a Motor Bike motor to go in a Go-Kart?

As on a motor bike the cog is on the left hand side but on the Go-Kart the cog is on the right hand side. I have a PCR frame and wish to put a 250cc Dirt Bike motor on it but the cogs are on opposite sides?!

and whats the problem? you just have to modify the go cart to the correct wheel. Than add a small bar and some grears to make both back wheels turn at the same time…. are you trying to use a chain? or just bigger wheels? Its not that hard. should be the same just have to convert to the other side of the go cart

can you take the axle off and flip it over and put it back on so that you sprocket is on the other side?

it can be done still yet though ,because when i was a kid my first good project was i put a Honda 450 engine on a go kart, along with a way to shift gears and all,it even had a clutch pedal.so it can be done you just have to modify it to work, good luck with it.
